The mission of Skills for Life for Youth, Inc., (SLY), is to address and minister to the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs of children and youth not only in Southwestern Pennsylvania, but throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the United States and international areas.

We accomplish our mission by supporting other Christian nonprofits in their task of addressing the needs of children and youth within their organizations as well as offering ministry and prayer for those who teach and mentor children themselves.  

In view of that, we are offering periodic blogs that bring Biblical truths to life to aid a much wider audience of people to understand the heart of God.  A number of blogs will address the heart of God toward children themselves, and how He wants those who mentor and teach them to communicate His love and truth to them.  All of these blogs will also be helpful for anyone who wishes to grow in their relationship with God and their understanding of His magnificent, fatherly love for them, and for anyone who wishes to grow in their revelation of the truths that will set them free to become all that God has ordained for them.
