THE HOUSE BUILT UPON THE ROCK (Part 1)

We must teach our children the truths in the Bible, the Word of God.  The only true foundation that our lives can be built upon is the Bible.  Psalm 119:89 states, “Forever, O LORD, Your word is settled in heaven (NKJV).”  Psalm 78:4&7 reads, “We will not hide these truths from our children, but will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the LORD; so each generation can set its hope anew on God, remembering His glorious miracles and obeying His commands (From Biblical Calligraphy by Timothy R. Botts).

I would like to touch upon a topic in which the Bible has very clear teaching and instruction.  The Bible is our absolute authority and source of truth concerning God, the creation of the world, and how God created us to behave and function as his children on earth.  I would like to address what the Bible says about gender.  Genesis 1:27 and 28 states, “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.  Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth (NKJV).”

From this Scripture it is clear that God created only two genders:  male and female.  There is no debate here.  This is the truth that all of our children must be taught.  Every child is either a boy or a girl.  The public school system in America directly contradicts this truth by teaching children that they can be whatever gender they want to be.  Despite the obvious God-given biological makeup of the child, the public school system now inflicts innocent, vulnerable children with the burden of deciding what gender they want to be, confusing them and bringing chaos into their lives.  Young children are just discovering their gender and learning who they are from their parents.  School is supposed to reinforce their gender identity so that they become established in this and can move on to learn reading, writing, math, and a variety of secondary subjects as well, without having to suffer the trauma associated with gender confusion.  God created mankind as male and female as well as the animal kingdom as male and female.  Now public schools want to introduce a variety of genders to children, introducing a demonic lie that contradicts the Word of God.  I have read stories of people who have had gender altering surgery that brought irreparable damage to them physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually; and now they are desperately trying to undo the damage that was done to them in all of these areas.

This demonic agenda does not stop there.  Now transgender boys are permitted to use girls’ bathrooms.  This presents the  possibility for girls to be sexually violated or traumatized.  This demonic agenda goes even further by allowing transgender boys to compete in girls’ sports.  Biologically, boys are superior in strength to girls.  A transgender boy is still biologically male, giving him an unfair advantage over the girls.

We must protect our children and youth from this insane culture!  Those  of us who name the name of Christ as our Savior and Lord must stand against this evil.  If left unchecked this agenda will literally destroy our children and youth.  Our posterity will be destroyed.  We must stand upon the Bible, the Word of God,  which is our firm foundation and the only foundation of absolute truth for the Christian believer!  Jesus is our Rock!  We must confront this evil in our culture and protect our children and youth from its devastating effects.

PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father, I ask you to give peace and great courage to those reading this blog.  Strengthen and empower parents, teachers and mentors of children and youth to stand strong upon the principles in the Bible, the Word of God.  Give them courage and great boldness so that they never compromise or water down Your Word because of fear or persecution.  I pray all of this in Jesus’ name.  Amen.
